Green GOOD DESIGN Sustainability Award 2024
KURZ won in the “Green Product/Graphic Design” category with its watering can design made from RECOPOUND®, a recycling compound based on PET. With its extravagant shape and sophisticated decorative highlights, the design creates wow effects.
Iconic Award 2024
The innovative and functional HMI panel with a wooden look has won in the category “Product Design - Kitchen and Household”. It impressed the international jury of the German Design Council with its combination of unique design and intuitive usability.
German Innovation Award 2024
The rear panel, which has already won several awards, also impressed the jury of the German Innovation Award. In the ‘Excellence in Business to Business: Automotive Technologies‘ category, GOLD was awarded for the production-ready, ready-to-use component.
IF DESIGN AWARD 2024
With a unique combination of design, lighting concept and functionality, KURZ has won the prestigious design award in the Product / Automobiles / Vehicles category. This production-ready rear panel is produced in just over a minute in a single process step and can be installed immediately.
German Design Award
Special Mention 2024
This innovative concept was awarded in the "Excellent Product Design - Automotive Parts and Accessories" category. The front panel, which is over one meter wide, is produced and decorated in a single work step using in-mold decoration (IMD). Laser engraving allows the radar/LiDAR-transparent panel being backlit.
IMDA Award 2022
LEONHARD KURZ realizes innovative designs for the new hygiene dispenser series ICON™ by Kimberly-Clark Professional™ using the IMD process and is honored with the IMDA Award in the category "Best Use of IMD for Consumer Products/Durable Products".
ABC Award 2022
The HMI (Human Machine Interface) Smart Crystal Panel for the vehicle interior won the "Special Mention" award in the category "Mobility & Innovation – Smart & Digital". It was developed in cooperation with Swarovski Mobility and the KURZ subsidiaries BURG DESIGN and PolyIC.
